Ідея проекту інтер'єру храму
свт. Миколая Чудотворця м. Івано-Франківська полягала
у створенні лаконічного дизайну на основі мотивів візантійського і
давньоукраїнського мистецтва та стилістики функціоналізму. Мінімалістичний
храмовий інтер'єр, на мій погляд, може бути більш зрозумілим для сучасного
глядача, який звик до стриманих форм у дизайні та архітектурі. Окрім цього, стриманість у декоруванні храму з
акцентом на іконах була характерною рисою середньовічної східнохристиянської мистецької
традиції. Гадаю, до цього принципу потрібно повертатися, враховуючи водночас
досвід мистецтва і дизайну 20-21 століть. Робота над інтер'єром храму полягала у розробленні проектів та авторському нагляді.
The idea of the interior project of the temple of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in the city of Ivano-Frankivsk (Ukraine) consisted in the creation of a laconic design based on the motifs of Byzantine and ancient Ukrainian art and the stylistics of functionalism. A minimalist temple interior, in my opinion, can be more understandable for a modern viewer who is used to restrained forms in design and architecture. In addition, restraint in the decoration of the temple with an emphasis on icons was a characteristic feature of the medieval Eastern Christian artistic tradition. I think we need to return to this principle, taking into account the experience of art and design of the 20th and 21st centuries. The work on the interior of the church consisted in the development of projects and the author's supervision.
